Technology can really benefit us when planning a party. I use technology to gain inspiration, research party decor trends, explore color schemes, find party recipes, and learn all sorts of new DIY techniques. I found a new way to use technology to benefit my party decor, and I am so excited to share a party I designed, completely inspired by a new app. The Keebler® Party Planner Live App is informative and inspiring, and helped me plan everything in this post from decor to recipes!

This adorable party will be so fun for guests and is surely one that will be remembered forever! I added lots of special touches to make this party elegant and inviting. I found the color scheme inspiration and recipe on the Keebler app!

TO MAKE THESE BALLOONS

I had so much fun decorating the party table with these balloons and shimmery goodness. Now is the time to head to the craft store and browse the Christmas aisles. I used a variety of shimmery holographic tinsel (in the little strands) in gold and hot pinky purple, and also various other gold Christmas garlands. I also headed over to the ribbon aisle, and grabbed anything I could find in this purple/plum color - I knew it would be slightly challenging to find anything purple in the Christmas aisles. I basically just inflated the balloons, tied and taped the longer strings/ribbons to the balloons, then for the tassels, I cut a 2-3" section of the holographic tinsel and wrapped it around the balloon string where it attached to the balloon.

Another fun way I utilized the balloons was to get clear balloons and created a funnel to pour in some confetti into the balloon. It worked out well, except I would recommend rubbing the balloon against your shirt or carpeting to create some static electricity so the confetti would stick to the sides of the balloons - otherwise, it all stays at the bottom. I would have used gold balloons or ideally the marbleized ones, but could not find them locally, so I was really happy with the outcome of this fun DIY Balloon Backdrop.

GLIMMERING JELLO "SHOTS"

These were so cute and amazingly easy! The night before the setup, I made some grape jello (and you can choose to make these with or without any alcohol in them). I poured the Jell-O into plastic champagne glasses and then right before setup, once the Jell-O had set, I topped them with gold shimmering sprinkles. You could also add a dollop of whipped cream and then the gold sprinkles, too!

SO excited about this fun display of Marshmallow Pops (below)! Think Cake Pops but WAY tastier :) I melted white chocolate chips and colored them with a variety of shades of purple and plum (I used my gel food colors for this). I also LOVED the addition of sprinkles in white, gold, and darker purple. I first inserted paper straws into these square shaped marshmallows, and poured melted chocolate over them.

TO CREATE THIS MARSHMALLOW DISPLAY:

I used a shallow galvanized tray, and cut floral foam blocks to fit. The more snug your foam is, the better your pops will stand up. I was so super happy with how this turned out, I just love it and could imagine the treat display in a wide variety of color schemes! Just add tinsel, confetti, candy, sprinkles, or any type of filling you desire to make your pops more festive!

In this post, I featured the Keebler® Club® Crackers and the Keebler® Entertainment Crackers Collection. The Club Crackers have that familiar, buttery taste that I have always, always loved. The Entertainment Collection offers such a wide variety of crackers, so no matter what you're serving at a party (or at any meal), this variety pack of crackers is top notch. Definitely the perfect solution to your holiday entertaining needs and come in entertaining sizes at Sam's Club.

The Keebler® Toasteds® Crackers would also be a great addition to any party. I found these at Sam's Club in the cracker aisle - what a fun shopping trip! I also found a few other items that I incorporated into this party, like these mini red velvet cupcakes and the spinach I used in the dip. I loved being able to incorporate buying in bulk into this project, because it means that I would have enough food for everyone, and I didn't have to run back out to pick up more supplies.

Find a $1 instant savings booklet at Sam's Club for these Keebler products and more!

These red velvet cupcakes, below, are definitely a crowd pleaser too! For the party, I displayed the red velvet cupcakes into a white and gold dotted vintage dish I have had for years. They looked adorable!

MORE ABOUT THE Keebler® Party Planner Live App

I downloaded the app, and it loaded pretty quickly. I logged in, and then searched the wide variety of party themes and holidays they provide. The images on the app are so well styled, and I was instantly inspired by their gold and purple themed Rockin' New Years Eve Party! I also found this recipe for a tasty Cheddar, Bacon, and Spinach Spread, that worked perfectly in addition to the suggested Keebler® Club® Crackers. This recipe (also so many of the other provided recipes) will be perfect for parties I host in the future, too.

AND, a unique feature to thi fun app is that when you purchase any of these products, and upload your receipt to KellogsFamilyRewards.com, your receipt gets approved and you get credits towards time chatting with a Live Party Planner. This sounds like so much fun!!!

Below, you can see how useful the app was while I created my recipe.
