Ginger, Grapefruit, Sake Cocktail Recipe

Love the taste of grapefruit and want to learn a new Spring and Summer Inspired Drink Recipe? Look no further! This deliciously fresh taste of grapefruit mixed with a few other ingredients make such a great combo! I knew I wanted to incorporate Fresh Frozen Ginger Cubes From Dorot in a drink recipe, so upon asking a mixologist friend for advice, I came to the conclusion that Sake might make an interesting pairing. I was so happy with how all of the tastes complimented each other so well, and the color of grapefruit is one of my all time faves! Add in some mint paper straws and adorably perfect glass jars to use as glasses, and you're set to enjoy a new cocktail!

1.) Mix all ingredients in a blender on pulse mode. The addition of a few Ginger Cubes was an amazing idea! They complimented the citrus taste of the grapefruit. Also, a note about adding your sweetener - if you want to add 1/2 C. at first, and taste it to see if it's good for you. Feel free to add more, since I found the sweetness cut don the bitter taste of the grapefruit quite a bit.

Adding the Sake, Below. 1 C. was perfect for this recipe.

Blend everything up and get ready to serve.

This Dorot Ginger is awesome! I can't wait to use it in more food and drink recipes. Maybe even some cookies soon!
