Looking for an adorable and hand crafted way to decorate for The Big Game? Why not create a 7UP® Margarita Mixer Station, so guests can mix up their own flavored drink. This delicious drink station is sure to please guests, and one of the best parts, is that you can opt for a mocktail (a mixture of ice, fruit, 7UP® and classic margarita mix), or add a bit of tequila. Offer guests these options, and they will visit the Margarita Mixer Station throughout the party. Try some 7UP® Game Day Ritas today! Are you hosting friends and/or family for football parties this year? If so, comment below to share your favorite Big Game drinks and foods.

7UP® was so kind to sponsor this post, and I just love how easy their tasty drinks were to use as the inspiration for the colors and flavors of this decor. I also found these amazing football glasses and plastic dishes that I loved incorporating into this table display. I also found some clear plastic tongs, which makes it way easier for guests to grab mix in ingredients, rather than people having to use their hands! An ice bucket with tongs is also a very good idea.

I found most of the ingredients at Walmart and a local fruit stand, and the glasses and football dishes were from a dollar store. The bucket was also beyond perfect, because I was able to fill it with ice, and raised the can of 7UP® to entice guests to grab a cold refreshment for their drink.

The crisp taste of the 7UP® works well with SO many mix ins! I chopped up ingredients like lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruit, star fruit (so pretty!!), peppers for those who like spicy flavors, ginger root, and jalapenos. If you have any other fruits that you think would taste good or interesting, cut them up and add them in as well! The star fruits look amazing, and add a bit of a sweeter component to the flavor. I also liked offering margarita salt to the table, because the salt really rounds out the flavor of these sweet drinks!

I just love how pretty this star fruit looks, and luckily it tastes incredibly good! In warmer climates, you can find them for under a dollar, and in other locations, they may be a bit more. Blueberries would have also been amazing in this!

HOW TO CREATE THE BIG GAME SIGN

Below, you will find the printable graphics I used to create this stunning display! Simply save them to your computer, or print them from this post. I would recommend printing them onto card stock, and then cutting them out with sharp scissors. This takes a little bit of time, but it’s WELL worth it! This technique gives the project a unique, handmade look that will impress guests.

TO USE:

Right Click to save or print each text graphic, below. Then, cut the letters out from your paper and stick to the wall with double sided tape.

Print one of these Margarita Mixer Station signs onto green paper or in color onto white paper.

FOR THE ICE BUCKET

I used a white plastic storage bin/bucket for ice. I bought bagged ice, because it actually looks a lot better than what comes out of my freezer’s ice maker, and since I needed SO much ice, that my poor little ice maker would have never made enough.

Anyway, one tip I would share is that you can actually put a few white towels in the bottom of the ice bucket(s) as filler, and so you don’t have to use SO much ice. It will melt anyway, so why not fill it with something you can just wash after the party.

I loved the idea of providing the soft drinks in one ice bucket, and then cut fruit wedges in the other. What a gorgeous presentation! For one dollar, these ice bucket / storage bins are going to be a big hit and work extra hard for you!
