I used to play with paper dolls as a kid, and when my dad would bring me to a bookstore, I would choose a book with paper doll cutouts instead of a traditional novel or similar that most people would buy. After I was too old for them, I went on to cutting people and outfit ideas out of magazines. It was fun, my grandma would give me her People magazines (and the tabloid ones, too!), and I would entertain myself for hours creating collages and such.
